BRAND STORY
Line 7
Line 7 has been keeping people dry since 1963. Born in New Zealand and tested against some of the world's harshest weather at sea and on land, they've spent over six decades perfecting waterproof clothing for those who can't afford to head indoors when the rain sets in. From ocean racing to the farm gate, Line 7 is built to last.

Built for the sea. Trusted on the farm
The Line 7 story starts in New Zealand in 1963, when founder Barry Wilson - a sailor who knew exactly how brutal the weather on the water could be - began making wet-weather gear that could genuinely stand up to it. What he created quickly found an audience beyond the sailing community, as farmers, fieldsports enthusiasts, and outdoor workers discovered that this was kit built for real conditions.
That reputation grew steadily over the decades. Line 7 gear has been worn at the America's Cup, Round the World Yacht Races, and the Olympic Games - wherever New Zealand sailors were pushing the limits, Line 7 was there with them. But the brand has always been just as at home on the farm and in the field as it has been at sea, and that balance of rugged practicality and genuine technical performance is what makes Line 7 special.
Today, Line 7's mission remains exactly what it's always been: to make world-class, lasting gear with a distinct New Zealand character. One thing that sets them apart is their commitment to repairability - every garment comes with a 7Tech Repair kit, because their philosophy is that great kit should be fixed and kept going, not thrown away. It's a sensible, sustainable approach that anyone who's ever loved a well-worn jacket will appreciate.

Line 7 STORM PRO20
This is Line 7's flagship range, and it shows. The Storm Pro20 is built on a three-layer rip-stop nylon construction with a 20,000mm waterproof rating and 20,000g breathability — serious numbers that put it at the top end of what you'll find in this price bracket. Whether you're out in driving rain on the hillside, dealing with a wet lambing season, or standing at a peg in a downpour, the Pro20 has the performance to match.
The jacket features internal neoprene cuffs, a double storm flap, 7Tech Flex articulation at the elbows for natural movement, and a good spread of pockets for practical use in the field. The bib overtrousers are cut generously to work over boots and heavy layers, with 7Tech Adapt adjustable braces and a 7Tech Gusset for full freedom of movement. Both jacket and bibs come in cuts tailored specifically for men and women.

Storm Armour10
If the Pro20 is Line 7's high-performance race car, the Armour10 is the reliable workhorse - and plenty of people will tell you it's all they need. Built from Oxford Nylon on a two-layer construction with a 10,000mm waterproof and breathability rating, this is a hardwearing combination that is well suited to farm work, country walking, and general outdoor use.
The Armour10 jacket features a three-way adjustable fixed hood, internal neoprene cuffs, reflective 7Tech branding for visibility in low light, and the same 7Tech Repair kit that comes with the whole Line 7 range. The bib overtrousers offer the same robust Oxford Nylon build with a clean, practical design. Again, both are available in men's and women's fits.

Prepared for Repairs
Even the toughest clothing has its limits, but when you push the Line 7 gear to breaking-point (or accidentally snag it on barbwire), there are '7Tech' repair patches stored in each jacket, bibs and overtrousers to allow you to home repair and crack on with the jobs that need doing. There's even a spare zip tab if you manage to lose one. These are really forward-thinking additions from a company that knows what it's doing when it comes to waterproof clothing.
Why we stock Line 7
More than 60 years of making waterproof clothing that genuinely works is a hard track record to argue with. Line 7 occupies a sweet spot between technical performance and everyday durability - this is lightweight kit that keeps you dry without demanding that you treat it like a museum piece. We particularly like the 7Tech Repair kit philosophy: it's an honest approach that shows Line 7 stands behind their products for the long haul.
